This is how I’ve been feeling lately: like a woman in need of a good unplugging. There hasn’t been any one thing that’s triggered it, just a steady accumulation of work, obligations and commitments (and, of course, laundry. Though it’s also been interspersed with lovely moments like this one).
Happily, Saturday marked the beginning of Elternzeit for The Man (he could use some decompressing, too), and next week we’re taking a much needed family vacation. In the spirit of unplugging, we kicked off our mini-holiday with a walk in the woods.
